All about Congas

This series of books, with enhanced CDs, provide everything students need to start playing the Jembe, bongos and Congas. Contents include history and background, drum types and anatomy, tuning up , playing positions and techniques, hand and rhythm exercises, practice tips, rhythm patterns (both traditional and contemporary), performance ensembles, and drum care including how to replace both traditional and contemporary-style heads. The enhanced CD may be played as an audio CD or used with a PC or Mac to show video clips of all the techniques and rhythms in the book.
