WHO WE ARE
Sieff’s Music is a family-owned Australian music store that has proudly served musicians, students, teachers, families and schools for over 40 years. Founded by John and Elaine Sieff in 1981, Sieff’s Music began in Blacktown and grew into a trusted name in the Australian music community.
For decades, our family has helped customers find the right musical instrument, whether they are just beginning their musical journey or are experienced performers. We stock a wide range of musical instruments, accessories, print music and sheet music, including guitars, keyboards, pianos, violins, woodwind, brass, percussion, drums, folk instruments and audio equipment.
After John’s passing in 2025, our family felt it was the right time to continue serving the music community through our online store and our brick-and-mortar store in Parramatta. While our Blacktown store has now closed, John’s legacy continues through Sieff’s Music Parramatta and our Australia-wide online service.
OUR STORE
Sieff’s Music is now located in Parramatta, Sydney, where customers are welcome to visit us in-store, try instruments and speak with our knowledgeable team. We also ship Australia-wide, helping musicians across the country access quality instruments, accessories and music products.
As a family business, we have always valued personal service. Over the years, many of John and Elaine’s children, relatives and long-term staff have worked in the stores, helping to create the welcoming, family-style service that Sieff’s Music is known for.
We understand that choosing an instrument can feel overwhelming, especially for beginners or parents buying for a child. Our team is here to offer honest advice, answer questions and help you find the right instrument for your needs, level and budget.
PIANO CITY
Piano City is part of the Sieff’s Music family and is located at our Parramatta showroom on James Ruse Drive. Managed by Elaine Sieff, Piano City specialises in acoustic pianos, digital pianos and keyboards, including new and used Yamaha and Kawai upright pianos, grand pianos, digital pianos and more.
Through Sieff’s Music and Piano City, we are proud to offer a wide range of instruments for beginners, students, teachers, professionals, churches, schools and families.
WHAT WE DO
At Sieff’s Music, our goal is to provide helpful service, quality products and honest advice. We carefully select instruments and accessories that offer value, reliability and great sound, while keeping our prices competitive for Australian customers.
Our range includes acoustic guitars, electric guitars, bass guitars, keyboards, digital pianos, acoustic pianos, violins, brass and woodwind instruments, percussion, drums, folk instruments, print music and musical accessories. Whether you are learning your first instrument, preparing for an exam, performing professionally, or returning to music later in life, we are here to help.
OUR SERVICE
Our friendly staff are trained and knowledgeable, and we aim to support customers both before and after their purchase. We provide advice on choosing, setting up and maintaining instruments, including guitars, violins and other string instruments. Woodwind and brass instrument servicing can also be arranged through our store.
We know the value of visiting a physical music store, trying instruments in person and speaking with staff who understand the products. At the same time, Sieff’s Music is continuing to grow its online presence, offering online shopping, Australia-wide delivery and customer support from the same team that serves customers in-store.
STORE PICKUP
Customers can order online and choose in-store pickup from our Parramatta store. Please wait for confirmation from our team before coming in to collect your order.
Store pickup is a great option if you would like advice from our staff or need help with your instrument. String instruments collected in-store can be checked, tuned and prepared for pickup where possible. For instruments being shipped, we take care with packing and preparation, but some tuning may be required after delivery due to movement and transport.
