The Roland KF-20 KIYOLA Digital Piano is more than just an instrument — it is a refined combination of advanced piano technology and traditional Japanese craftsmanship. Designed in collaboration with furniture makers Karimoku, the KF-20 blends seamlessly into modern living spaces while delivering the expressive performance of a premium digital piano.
Powered by Roland’s Piano Reality Modeling sound engine, the KF-20 recreates the complex tonal characteristics of an acoustic grand piano in real time. This modelling technology allows the instrument to respond naturally to your touch, producing smooth tonal variation, rich resonance and natural decay across all playing styles.
With limitless polyphony when playing Grand Piano tones, the KF-20 ensures every note is heard clearly, even during complex passages or sustained pedal use. The instrument features a total of 54 tones accessible through the Roland Piano App, including grand piano, electric piano, harpsichord and organ voices.
Beyond its musical capabilities, the KF-20 reflects the quiet beauty of Japanese craftsmanship. The cabinet design takes inspiration from Hikimono, a traditional woodworking technique in which wood is carefully shaped to achieve smooth, rounded forms. Each instrument is hand-assembled to create a sophisticated presence suited to homes, studios and performance spaces.
Available in four elegant finishes — Pure Oak, Walnut, Sheer White and Celadon Green — the KF-20 highlights the natural beauty of wood while complementing contemporary interiors.
The KIYOLA cabinet incorporates hand-crafted solid wood elements, while manufactured wood is used in areas that interface directly with electronic and mechanical components. This design approach reduces the risk of bending or warping due to humidity or temperature changes, ensuring greater long-term stability and durability.
As a digital piano, the Roland KF-20 requires no tuning, offering consistent performance with minimal maintenance.
