Featuring a solid mahogany body with a plain maple top, it brings vintage tone and style to the forefront. The ‘50s-style rounded mahogany neck has a smooth rosewood fingerboard with classic trapezoid inlays, offering a comfortable yet authentic playing experience.
The pickups are a pair of Burstbucker 1 & 2 humbuckers, designed with Alnico II magnets to capture that warm, vintage PAF sound. These are paired with handwired electronics, featuring vintage-style 500k pots and Orange Drop capacitors for crisp, clear tonal response. The hardware sticks closely to the original '50s specs, including the ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, amber Top Hat knobs, and an amber switch cap — all contributing to the guitar’s vintage vibe.
In addition, there’s a stunning '50s-style Goldtop version equipped with a pair of P90 pickups. This version harks back to the revered pre-burst '56 and '57 models, with no weight relief in the mahogany body, and a ‘50s-profile neck. The P90s give this guitar a punchy, distinctive sound all its own.
